Overview:
The VT-SUB subwoofer is a cardioid construction cabinet box. It features an 18-inch neodymium woofer mounted in the front of the inside box, along with a 12-inch drive in chamber bandpass design that is mounted for backward radiation. Furthermore, its cardioid pattern enables the speaker to eliminate unnecessary sound behind the equipment.
VT-sub feature:
1. Actively driven high performance cardioid subwoofer powered by a single amplifier channel.
2. Cabinet is constructed from marine plywood and has an impact and weather protected PCP (Polyurea Cabinet Protection) finish.
3. The front of the loudspeaker cabinet is protected by a rigid metal grill backed by an acoustically transparent foam.
4. Each side panel incorporates two handles.
5. It houses two long excursion neodymium drivers, an 18" driver in a bass-reflex design facing to the front and a 12" driver in a two chamber bandpass design radiating to the rear.
